Until 1964, Coventry had a direct train service to Cambridge. When the line east was cut, the same train arrived via B'ham New St. It did not last long. So, after my weeks rail-roving which reminded me of this service, I have re-introduced our direct service from Hall Brooks. A V2 is in charge, here. I remember as a train spotter that it was either a V2 or a B1 which arrived with this train into Coventry.
