I second that Philip. I have 'gone off the main line' many times but can rely on Cliff to put me/us on the right track again.

Being a moderator is a commitment that not everyone would commit too. All of the moderators on this site deseve our respect and M.R. will doubtlessly be a loss to the forum Have a peaceful 'retirement' M.R.

Hi All, & welcome Neil. I'm not too sure about tonight Rob. I've just arrived home from a curry evening at the HollyBush pub, only to find that my stairs have gone missing. I know they were there when I left home around six this evening. I've checked on eBay & they are not there. It's just as well I've a downstairs toilet, but how the heck three of us are going to sleep on the couch I don't know. Have a good night All. The Thatchers was beautiful

Thanks everyone - you all know I love this place and Old-Cov! Apols, work has been inconveniently getting in the way recently but will look forward to many more years of wandering around our streets with you all virtually on here!
