Moved on yesterday and left a total mess behind.
As the council must have their number plates, why don't they charge them with fly-tipping? |

In this old photo my Grandad from Spon End & then Hillfields (Francis Harold Baker) is holding my Aunty Winifred's hand when she was tiny.

There's something very sweet about a guy taking a toddler for a walk and listening intently while they babble.
It's very hard to imagine the pictures of the mill and the park pond as the same area. |

Cycled through Naul's Mill Park today and noticed the pool is all fenced off with security fencing. On a closer look there are lots of large piles of sand in the pool which is virtually empty, looks like they are either reducing it in size or filling it in completely. Anybody know what is happening? Question |

According to the Facebook page of the Friends of Naul's Mill Park the pool is being rewilded, whatever that means. |

Hi SC - I was wondering how it's possible to rewild a concrete bowl |

Thanks for that Belushi , I should have checked there myself. I expect they're going to dig most of the concrete up (or bury it). In fairness it has been an eyesore for a long time now, either empty or full of algae. I'll try and find out some more if I can |

Many thanks from me too Anne, I was aware of the plans for under the Ring Road and beyond to Middleborough Road but didn't realise it was going to extend into the Park. |

The incredible new mural at Coundon Hall Park by Katie O'Sullivan AKA Katie O Art. It's on the changing rooms wall at the Tamworth Road car park. The building is due to be replaced in 2 years time. For anyone in and around Coventry, the mural is being officially opened tomorrow (Saturday 19 June 2021) at 12.15pm by Lynval Golding (The Specials) and Cllr Bally Singh - this will be part of the "Art in the Orchard" event which takes place from 11am to 4pm at the Coventry Peace Orchard - 3 minutes walk from the mural. I'm filming the opening and the art event as well. |
