Hi all, The building of the Hi-rise date I don't know. The bus is the date giveaway for the photo. The bus is part of the first ever batch of rear engine, no conductor buses, which started operation in 1966/7. They were Leyland Atlanteans. The first Atlantean to enter normal service was in July, 1967. Some pre-production vehicles arrived in 1965, for crew training & general assessment for one man operation. That included ticket cancelling machines.

Phoenix House was officially opened 24 May 1960.
