Tailors and Outfitters (bespoke and other)

And my mum got mine from the Market! I've a vague memory it was from a stall called "Deakin's", where she used to buy my jeans. Or is this a false memory?

I seem to remember that Deakins had 2 stalls next to each other, just inside the inner ring when you went through the doors by the roundabout?

Deakin only retired about a year and a half ago (sorry I've forgotten his first name), he had the next stall to "Brewer Bill". I was chatting to him as I'd known him since the seventies, he was the main source for Wrangles seconds. The main problem was Wrangler and several other manufacturers had stopped supplying to small businesses like him. It was always very difficult to work out why they were seconds. He reckons over the years he must have sold tens of thousands of the shirts and they were his stable income for many years. He was also a really nice bloke who loved nothing better a chat (as did Brewer Bill and his mate, it was impossible to do a quick purchase with either of the stalls)
