Allesley Old Road

The south side of Allesley Old Road wasn't built on until the early 20th century as you can see from this picture taken from the corner of Hearsall Lane:

Another new (to me anyway!) cracker and the best photo I have seen of the old cottages on the Allesley Old Road which were at the NE corner of the golf course. They've been mentioned on this thread some time ago with some aerial images from Deano but this is the best shot I have seen of them. I didn't realise they were so close to the road but the 'S' bend is totally recognisable today.

I've just looked at 'Google Streetview' and the low flat roofed building is still there. The motif in the facade of the building says '1929' presumably the year of construction. It is now an Islamic Centre. The bus heading towards town would be outside the Maudslay PH.
