What a super little poem Morgana, thank you for sharing.
And I happen to know that a certain Johnny Walker has a poetic way with words, too - I wonder if he'd like to share one or two of his with us all here? |

Lovely poem Morgana and I know your talents don't end there as you have a very artistic nature too. Are there any more in the pipeline? |

I shall let her read all your comments when she returns from holiday so watch this space, Dreamtime, yes I am as she does try on her own now Tricia, scrutiny
I would also like to add the reason I encourage her is when she is older she will have something to occupy her mind, also might give her a living as jobs seem to be few for the youngsters at present and might be in the future too.

Drink controlling
You ask for me then order more,
Then down your throat you do pour,
I pass your throat and I'm on the way,
To alter every thing you say,
You start to drink me every night,
But did you know I can start you a fight,
The day time comes you start again,
So now I start destroying your brain,
You've drank me once, you've drank me twice,
When I'm going your as cold as ice,
I'm in a glass and I'm also wet,
I can even start to make you sweat,
Now in the morning you will awake,
Then this is when you'll start to shake,
Now it's too late there's is nothing you can do,
Cause now I've got a hold on you
Paranoia
There I was having my tea,
When who jumped in but Mr Flea,
I asked him if he'd like to sit down,
When my face changed from a smile to a frown,
Cause as I looked up my door opened wider,
Then who crawled in but Ted the spider,
I asked him if he'd wiped his feet,
But before I'd finished he'd took a seat,
This puzzled me and I wondered why,
Then who flew in but Tim the fly,
He came up to me and gave me a hug,
The who dropped in but May the bug,
This puzzled me even more,
As May got up and close the door,
Now is it that they've come for tea?,
Or is it that they're after me

Thank you Tricia, so much you understand too, yes it's my life experience of others' lives where I get my poetry from, like Cardboard City not on this earth, which I will place on next, I am awaiting Johnny Walker's poetry too, where are you Johnny Walker |

These poems were written years ago, seems not much changes.
A Cardboard City Government
Did you ever see a child on Christmas day?
Hold its breath, then it's taken away,
To wake up to nothing as its wish never came true,
This is the pain installed from you,
To make richer, richer and the poor to stay poor,
What kind of future have they got in store?
If a dream can't come true when you are a child,
What do you expect when they're grown and gone wild,
They cling to a dream which cannot be broken,
You give them a pittance, that's just a token,
To barely live hand to mouth,
But you don't want them down in the south,
Showing you up for what you are worth,
CARDBOARD CITY, NOT ON THIS EARTH,
You create it, then condemn, condemn, condemn,
When will you learn they are only children?
No places to go, 'cause they are all broke,
Selling themselves and begging, even to blokes,
When will you see that they are our future,
But till then you'll belittle and nurture,
One day one might reach your ivory tower,
And then take from you all your greedy power.
