Thanks everyone. I'll certainly come calling once the Cooper archive is with me and I can, via the website, share. NLHF are a queer bunch. We offered a great deal (including outreach with two community venues) but they didn't see that as digital engagement (despite us saying some communities do need support at a basic level. That said, Coventry has received a lot of NLHF in the past few years to refurb Drapers Hall, Charterhouse and the cememtery, so any excuse not to spend money in Cov will do, so probably bad timing. I'm uploading some STUNNING images of the precinct tomorrow btw. Hopefully you'll enjoy them. I'll create a gallery for them. They came from the Architects' Dept slides. Any more info on them, do let me know. Ben

There are some wonderful clear pictures on there. Thanks for sharing it, bk. There are some lovely pictures of Radford which is one of my interests and lots of the city. Are there particular newspaper dates you are concentrating on?

Gosh yes, the memories too. So much of the generation that I'm part of is recorded either on paper or on electronic devices, the likes of which were unknown to any previously.

Some really great new pictures popping up and some better versions of old favourites. Caution - some of those that came from Mirrorpix and other sources are incorrectly labelled and several are flipped left to right or even upside down. I'm holding off on keeping a list of the flaws because I've yet to find a way to systematically go through them. I've nothing to add to many of the modern photos eg the City of Culture sketch books and there are too many pages to load everything. I'm currently putting in random words to bring up shorter lists but it's not a great way to search. If the search criteria result in too many results the thing times you out.

They're a different number Ben. The one the search function delivers is 49988 and tiny, whereas yours is 16459 and does work.
