Priory Street

As we don't appear to have a Priory Street dedicated thread I've started this one. This one shows the very last days of the very last of the Victorian terraces left at the north end of Priory Street looking towards the junction with Wheatley Street. The old City Flour Mill chimney is visible as is Rugby Autocar who were using part of the old mill yard as a used car lot. I think the bayed house in the centre would be No.80 looking at Old Maps.

Just before we were moved out of the art college in Ford street I watched this row being demolished until sadly there was nothing left but the remains of a bonfire emitting a few wisps of smoke , sad
