Hi all , As I was listening to the clues being given for this mornings "treasure hunt", I recognised one of our forum members voices, for the Bill & Bob location. That was exciting.

I actually think that during this lockdown CWR has come into its own. It doesn't have the obvious bias of the mainstream BBC output and is serving its purpose as a community station, helping local people with local issues. There is also the bonus that none of the presenters are Jeremy Vine.

Correct. His droning, funerial voice does not inspire. On the Eggheads, he wastes lots of time by interjecting, completely unnecessarily, all the time. His forte is stating the bleaking obvious, for example, before reading out every question, and bearing in mind that each round has a mere 3 questions: "get this wrong and you've lost the round!". As if nobody understands that 3 is bigger than 2 or 1 - infant school stuff. And I cringe when it goes to sudden death: "I don't give you alternatives [sic]". Sometimes he gets it right and uses the word options.
