Hi Matchle55 Wave No thunder stolen, pleased you are recovering. As a sometime biker myself I have to ask - was the bike ok? Smile I must admit that the couple of times I came off that was always my first thought. I also managed to fall off a stationery bike once Roll eyes . Having filled up I got on the bike, I kicked the stand up and overbalanced, it was a large Yamaha (sorry, but it was the only non-British bike I owned), both bike and me were fine. Unfortunately I was with a group of friends and have never been allowed to forget it.

Old Lincolnian, in answer to your question, the bike came off better than I did, usual things, silencer, front mudguard, brake pedal, clutch lever. I was relieved the tank wasn't damaged, that would have increased the repair bill somewhat. When I started riding bikes in the 60s Japanese bikes were my choice, or what my dad thought I should have LOL. Now, my garage is full of the British bikes I lusted after but wasn't allowed, back then Thumbs up Thumbs up

You'd think that by now the scammers could target people better. Think how easy it would be to fall for a vintage Coventry car or a folder of early sketches of the city. Oh my
