Many thanks to Rob for publishing, arranging and being so tolerant/patient when correcting my typos!
Hope you all enjoy it - some fascinating photographs and tales - including some audio clips. |

Congratulations to Simon and Rob for two amazing articles. What wonderful memories Miss Bashfiord has shared.
The second feature about the 1939 IRA bomb is very moving and a very poignant account.
Well done and thank you both for publishing them. |

Hi
I am in awe of the depth & feeling that oozes out as we read & view the pictures that are alive, even though they are memories. Thank you so much. |

I so enjoyed reading this and looking at the photographs.
As my two children attended Stivichall School in the 70s I recognise some of the children and most of the teachers and also remember Barbara Law.
I was eagerly looking to see if either of my children were on the photographs but unfortunately not!
I recall going to see the production of Oliver and how good it was.
I now have a Grandson attending the New Stivchall School which is very nice, however he is leaving this Summer to go to Finham Park, where have those years gone. |
