Hubert Derek Toothhill (Derek Hill)

I am looking for any information I can on Hubert Derek Toothhill. He was a male nurse and I know he worked at Cov and Warwickshire Hospital in the 70s. He may have changed his name to Hill. Would appreciate any help. If he is still alive he would be in his nineties.

Birth 3 Mar 1927, registered Halifax Marriage 1946, to Dorothy C Gaskins Death Jan 2004, registered Coventry (also as Derek Hill) 1939 Register, 38 Bolingbroke Road, Coventry Father, James A Toothhill, Telephone Equipment Storekeeper, ARP Ambulance Driver Mother, Clarissa C Toothhill, Telephone Component Tester, ARP Warden Self, At School 1952 Nursing Register shows him at Coventry & Warwickshire Hospital

Update: In 1955 (Coventry) he married Freda D E Atkins, registration index shows him as "Derek Hill or Toothill" She passed away in 2005

This picture appeared in the Coventry Telegraph 14th January 1970, courtesy of the British Newspaper Archive. Entitled "Coventry nurses say no to pay rise" it says Derek Hill is in the picture so that must be him at the back.
