Don't know where it is but the guy on the left looks like the kind of photo from a US year book they use to identify the mass murderer/victim they're looking for.

Pardon? That's a picture of me! It was taken at what was, and still is, the proudest moment of my life, the Major Awards Ceremony in Coventry all those years ago. A survey had been done throughout Coventry, and ours was the only house in the street to have an old fashioned brass door knocker, instead of a modern electric door bell. So I was awarded the No Bell prize.

Groan at Slim Lol Just to be clear, I'm not saying the fellow looks like a murderer/victim, just that the photo looks American. It's set in a studio with that funny background and the outfit, right up to the angle of the mortar board, doesn't look British either. It's the type of photo they put in year books with a caption underneath. 'Most likely to... appear in a porthole advertising student accommodation.'

I am sure that most will know where this is but does anyone know what the initials are? I have no idea so don't ask me.

I'm thinking of a place in Coventry: A bridge runs over it, it was built in remembrance to someone, it has a gate at each end, and is less than a quarter of a mile from the cathedral. Thumbs up

Hi Peter, Yes well done! Thumbs up It is Lady Herbert's Garden. The garden was built in the 1930's by Alfred Herbert in memory to his wife, Florence. It is located between two city gates (the Swanswell and Cook Street Gates). A great little green oasis in the city centre. Luke. Smile

Like you I knew where it was but didn't know it had moved or who the initials belonged to and I was there last year.
