Hi Helen, thanks for that. George Storer Snr, believed born Crich in Derbyshire circa 1800, married Helen Warner in 1828 at St Lawrence's, Foleshill. Described in the 1841 census as a brick maker, and went up from there! His son George (Jnr), born circa 1832; also a builder, suffered a bankruptcy in his early days, but managed to resurrect the business, and by the 1881 census of Byron St, Foleshill, employed 20 men. He continued building up to shortly before his death in 1903. Other members of the family continued in the building trade, with some property still in the ownership of the family up to the 1990's. I've a long list of planning and building applications by George Storer, for roads, as well as houses, gleaned from the local papers, as well as some 'issues' on the way! Some mentioned, in no particular order are, Colchester St, George St, Norfolk St, Lower Ford St, Highfield Rd, Radford St, Spring St, Brook St, Holyhead Rd, Charles St, and Russel St. David.
