I think this one is looking down Gilbert Street with the Waterloo Tavern on Brook Street at the end -

While doing my family history I went through the 1911 census for Gilbert Street a page at a time. The numbers run 1,2,3, etc not odd and even. So the house you were looking for is further along the street.

Spot on. That street is one where house numbers ran consecutively. Just a bit off the map to the right..
