Hi argon, The light shining from Jupiter is more likely to cause issues. Just in case & to conserve energy I've switched them off, you will be relieved.

Found this Christmas card by a local amateur artist from the early 1970s. I've posted it elsewhere, but thought I'd share it here. I believe the artist was a draughtsman for the council. He did a few over the years. All iconic of Coventry. If I find more, I'll post them.

Been reliably informed the artist was a Val Kaye, and NOT the draughtsman I thought it was.

Hi all, My memories of Christmas celebrations are so precious. Not just the Christmas day morning excitement, but the memories of furniture being moved around, lent or borrowed to fit hundreds around a dinning table meant for six maximum. Also coming home with a gift made at my infants school that I hadn't worked out what it was until dad showed me using it to light his cigarette from the open fire. The box of homemade decorations coming out, with the honeycomb paper bell. Everyone had one of them. Oh, he does go on, so will leave that for your memories.
