Hi all Wave Well I didn't get to see the Olympic Torch as you can't see it from the outside of the Olympic Stadium!! However, I had a wonderful time at the Olympics. There are not enough superlatives to describe how wonderful the Olympic Park is; or to describe the atmosphere there. It really made me proud to be British. Cheers

I took the lads to the Ricoh last night. It was just like watching the Sky Blues! Wink

At least the regulars would have been used to the disappointment. Cheers

So glad you enjoyed the Olympics, Tricia, and I'm sure it made it all the more special being with your son and daughter-in-law and gorgeous granddaughters. Wave

I disagree - at least the ladies had a go and tried to get at the opposition. We started off like the Sky Blues - shaky at the back and concede and let in a poor goal with the free-kick (regardless of the press 'wonderstrike' comments) but after that we really tried to get at them. Some of the passing wasn't as crisp as it could be and some players didn't perform to their best, but the performance was well above anything the Sky Blues have shown in the last few seasons and if they showed that much intent and desire week-in week-out I might consider going back up more often!
