Coventry Car Day 2015

Tomorrow is Coventry car day, at the invitation of the motor museum, later Coventry built cars will be on display in Broadgate and earlier ones outside the museum itself. Some of us will drive to the venue from Coombe abbey, starting at 9.00 am arriving at approx 10.00, presumably "round the houses".

And what a fabulous display they made! We also took the opportunity to have a look around the newly refurbished Transport Museum - and that didn't disappoint either I think the new layout is much improved with lots of overhead projectors displaying information above exhibits with interactive elements to keep youngsters involved and informed. Top that all off with a ride in the all new 4D THRUST simulator (which sadly we didn't have time for) and you have a perfect afternoon out.
