Don't know the name Vincent Beesley, but wasn't / isn't there a firm of electricians Lee Beesley?

Trying to trace Peter Patchett, a former work colleague who used to work for Lee Beesley and then went on to work for Coventry Transport. He later got married and I have lost his address and would appreciate any information on his whereabouts.

Yes, Lee Beesley's showroom was in Warwick Row, next to the Reform Club (this was the Food Office during WW2.)

Lee Beesley's electrical business was burgeoning in the 50s and 60s and most probably later.

A nice Lee Beesley Ad. I completed an Electrical Engineering apprenticeship with Lee Beesley back in the 1970's, they were a fantastic company. I really must think of some stories to post about them.

A Nostalgic Cov book I have that was sponsored by Lee Beesley. This section details the company's history, an interesting read? There is more if anyone is interested. Feel free to remove if there's an issue with copyright. Cliff

Thanks Heathite, I hadn't noticed the workshop entry before. Here's a 1924 pic of Lee Beesley's shop and Palmer's butchers next door. Hard to believe that from this little shop they grew to employ 2000 at their height when they were fitting out shadow factories and still employed over 1000 when I worked there in the 1970's. Cliff
