Some great pics of Coventry here.

Old, not so old, new. It all looks good, a city moving forwards, not scurrying along in the tram lines. It is a city which has something for everybody, and I can think of worse places to live. Thumbs up

What a fabulous collection of photos there, thanks Mike. The cathedrals obviously feature a great deal, but particularly great to see so many other wonderfully colourful Coventry scenes featured, too.

In 1924 they would have been at 18 Hertford Street Don't think that helps identify the location of the photograph

I think that the photo was taken from the Barracks Market looking Toward St Michaels. Zoom in to the flag on the market and the view is just above it. The second view is even better. Britain From Above Better version
