Could someone tell me where Stanley Street (33) was in 1909, please. I assumed it was in the eastern part of the city as the person living there worked at the Binley pit, but I cannot find the street!!!! |

Definitely STREET. If in Great Heath, any ideas of just where? There is no reference in the modern maps so I assume it has been totally demolished? |

If you look on the topic under "Highfield Street" Rob has put a map on which shows Stanley Street, Highfield Street was the next street on the census. Stanley Street is renamed as St Elisabeth's Road |

My enquiry was for a bit of research about one of the soldiers in WW1 who was killed. He was a member of Godiva Harriers and quite a good runner. |

My mother lived at 14 Stanley Street about 1912. I have a postcard sent to her at this address. |
