Tanyard Farm

Does anyone have any info or photos of pre1979 Tanyard Farm as it was and the people who lived there?

Yes, if you mean Rough Close. I have been up there with the dog. Very nice walk. Love walking down Benton Green Lane too leading into the lovely picturesque village of Berkswell. Always grateful for info on walks, many thanks

I thought I'd shared this one before but couldn't see it. A great shot taken by a lad on one of the Coventry FB pages - who as can be seen bravely scaled a massive tree to take it circa 1970's! A rare shot of the farm as mentioned above which I vaguely recall myself.....

And another cracker - the lady who took this from her parents' then bungalow - one of the ones on Tanners Lane one cold winter. Her father bought the land from the sisters who owned the farm and built the five bungalows on it in that spot which are still there today.
