Hey Neil, I remember Lenny, he used to look bashful sometimes. How do you know he is living in a box ? Wave

Hi Dream - Terry Hall sadly passed away in Coventry in 2007 but his wife still lives there and is friends with my wife as they used to teach at the same school together. She taught both my lads Cheers

Many forget just how big a star Terry and Lenny were. On Thursday 16 May 1963 The Beatles made their second appearance on national BBC television, on his show "Pops And Lenny." Terry's wife has some terrific stories about house parties with Morecambe and Wise etc.

Thanks Deano, I must be in my 'second childhood' already as I enjoyed that. Doesn't hurt once in a while does it Wave

Thanks for that Neil, It's a shame Lenny couldn't carry on. There must be a few 'characters' without their masters (for want of a better word) now. Happy Wave

I 'met' Lenny The Lion at Ford's Christmas Party, Regal Cinema, Leamington Spa in about 1957. I can remember that he had a very firm handshake (for a lion). I had a photograph showing Lenny, Terry, and me (complete with my school cap), although I don't know if I still have it.
