Philip and I attended Graham's funeral at lunchtime today. There was a really good turnout which gave him a lovely send-off. I passed on to his daughters the good wishes of our members and printed the comments from this thread for those members of Graham's family who would not be able to view them on here. I thought it might also act as a reminder of how highly he was thought of on our forum. They asked us to pass on their thanks for everyone's kind wishes.

Oh dear, that's sad. My thoughts with his family. Being a newer member on this site I don't know of him, but from all the messages he was well liked & done a lot for this forum. RIP.

Hi Donna Wave It is so sad that we meet under the cloud of so great a loss. The fact is though, that Graham lives on in you, your sister & your families. Love to you all from us on our (yours as well) forum.

Hello. My name is Kerry and my amazing dad GVB was a member of your forum. I felt I had to become a member to send this post to say a very heartfelt thank you, firstly to the representatives of your forum for attending my dad's funeral but also to all members who posted such lovely comments about him. To anybody who did know him they would probably describe him as an extremely hard worker, a fantastic family man, biker grandad extraordinaire and big head! He was a very intelligent man and as such loved commenting on your forum with anything he could. As my dad's health deteriorated he was on the computer a lot more to keep himself entertained and took a great deal of enjoyment from your site. He bought huge smiles to my face, my husband's and our 3 boys, along with my sister's family too. So to receive an envelope of condolences and kind words really helped. Anyway I have rambled enough. Thank you all again very much. Kerry and family.

Hi Kerry & welcome Wave Thank you for your post onto your forum. The forum does have biker enthusiasts, but please feel free to contribute on any issue. We are also well blessed with a vibrant & caring group of lady members, some who now live many thousands of miles away. Please just feel at home, along with your sister. Love & best wishes from us all. Wave

Hi Kerry, how nice to see you on the forum. Smile It was always lovely to read your dad's contributions on here. I also saw him commenting on one of the Facebook Coventry groups, he always had something interesting to add. You must be missing him terribly, I know I still miss my dad after forty odd years. I never met Graham but he did seem a genuinely nice man. I hope you and your family are managing to cope with his loss knowing that he was thought well of by so many. Best wishes to you all, Jan xx
