Here's a preview (from WhatCar.com) of the new car to be built at Browns Lane It's good to think that quality motor cars will once again be built in Coventry.
If all else fails, read the instructions!

Just for a bit of info on a very old thread. There is a Jensen FF V8 in the reception area at Ricardo in Leamington. The Jensen FF is a four-wheel drive grand tourer produced by British car manufacturer Jensen Motors between 1966 and 1971. It was the first non all-terrain production car equipped with four-wheel drive and an anti-lock braking system.

Love the original Interceptor but that story re the 'new' one is ten years old now. Sadly nothing materialised.

The Interceptor was Kevin Beattie's masterpiece and a 'Car of the Year'. He trained with Rootes and it was good to see someone who was really good at their job getting their rightful recognition at Earls Court. He was of the same era as Harry Sheron and then Roy Axe, Head of Design for Chrysler (Europe) at the age of 29, both of whom also trained at Rootes. If only we had not had the anarchy on the shop floor, we certainly had the engineering talent to succeed.

First Jensen I ever saw was delivered to my old boss`s new house in Spinney Close back in the 60`s with personalised number plate, which had to be changed as the number had already been allocated. (everything was paperwork no computers back then)
