Great photo Kimbo I have one come into my garden for the birds fat shells, one year I captured it swinging from one part of the bird pole to the other and sliding up and down the pole to get to the food, it must of thought it was at the park |

Apologies for the poor picture quality - these were spotted in our garden on 15 April (Fat Frank on the left had been around for several weeks, sadly we have not seen them since)

Thanks - yes they can be amusing to watch, but at the end of the day they're really rats with bushy tails
We had a devil of a job finding bird-feeders that really are squirrel-proof, despite all the claims, they're not easy to find
Now the squirrels only have access to the fat ball feeder and the droppings from the bird feeders, whilst the birds have sole access to their nuts and seed |

Why thank you scrutiny, yesterday I wasn't quick enough with catching a dragonfly along the pathway side of the Ricoh, now that would to me would have been a great catch. Oh |

When we first moved into our present house we were on a "frog migration route". Every autumn frogs used to travel from a garden pond to a local pool for overwintering via our garden. Unfortunately if we had the back door open many would come into the house, be unable to get out again and either end up in the hallway or in some cases find their way upstairs so we would rescue them and take them to the pool. This happened for about five years and then it stopped, we later found out that the garden pond had been filled in.
Funnily enough we never saw them going the other way in spring. |

Such a shame the garden pond was filled in. I know the past few years there has been a shortage of frogs in this country like this year a shortage of ladybirds through the wet weather destroying their food.

You should have left the front door open! |
