Nice one Kevin. I hadn't realised the original tunnels they used were the ones going in at The Lindfield. I knew it was somewhere but not there.

I knew it was done in Stoke Aldermoor, but always wondered whereabouts. Thanks.

Following the recent plaque unveiling - some great info here including a section half way down on the Coventry sewer scene complete with pinpointed location.

I've been up a few times recently to look for the commemorative plaque for this film but I've not managed to find it, even asked a couple of locals but they did not know where it is either. Please can somebody tell me where to look as I am obviously not looking in the right place. Many thanks.

Thanks Neil Cheers , I've cycled that path a few times but not noticed anything, I'll try harder next time. I assume I am looking for some kind of plaque or have I got it wrong.

Yes Lincolnian - I hate the Telegraph website as its full of ads but you can see it all here from where they had the ceremony last year. They even had Remy Julienne there whose stunt team filmed the cars. I haven't actually seen it myself and keep meaning to view which I should as it's near to where my mother-in-law lives.

Thanks again Neil, I now know what I'm looking for so I'll take a look in the next few days, I also try to avoid the Telegraph website whenever possible, as well as the plethora of adverts they also have a peculiar idea of what they put under" Coventry News".

I finally found it and must admit to being somewhat underwhelmed. Could it have been any smaller? For anybody else looking it is roughly halfway up the bank just before Allard Way as the footpath from Stoke Aldermoor to Ernesford Grange goes under the road.

Well done Lincolnian. I will still go to see it at some point. To be fair the organisers made some effort for the unveiling and it was good to see it at least recognised in some way after all these years.

Seen bits of this one before but thought it worth adding for the clarity and size. It means you can easily identify the exact spot today with the properties on The Barley Lea showing in the background - Google Mapped.
