I've found that chap driving around again, there's a distinctive building with a mast or something? Coventry Street? Now he's passing a Garage, so I had to put this one on Roll eyes I've made it a bit messy on here, Oh my Mystery Garage

Foleshill Road - the road opposite is Lythalls Lane Thumbs up

The mystery garage was on Lythalls Lane on the bend past the old dog track, opposite the Self Changing Gear factory.

It's a view from the London Road looking north towards the junction with Gulson Road on the right Smile Old-Maps.co.uk This is a similar view taken before the war and the subsequent bomb damage. The Maudslay bus is just leaving Gulson Road: Pictures of Coventry

I previously said that I agreed that it was Lythalls Lane - we had close friends who lived at 233, and this photo is taken very close to the front of their house, so the view is very familiar to me The name Trackside Garage confirms it - telephone no 88210 if anyone is interested Oh my - it is now the site of the Pharos Group building
