When was the Lincoln Street hostel demolished?
This Coventry Telegraph article, from 11th of January 2012 says that "The existing Salvation Army hostel in Lincoln Street is due to be demolished later this year and the land will be handed back to Coventry City Council.".
And this Council Report suggests the site was cleared as of the time of the report (Dec 2013) most likely by the summer of that year.
So this suggests that it was probably around late 2012/ early 2013 when the building was eventually demolished (?)

The hostel was first proposed in 1971 and received planning permission in the April:
"S/1971/0667 Social service centre for 150 men and 2 resident staff to be
administered by the Salvation Army, Approved, 7th April 1971". It opened in 1973.
