I used to watch the fuel being tipped into the lorries from the chute while waiting for my boyfriend to finish his shift who worked there and lived on the village, both my sisters and I married Keresley village men, one of my sisters still lives on the village and has noticed since the closing of the Homefire plant, how cleaner it is inside her home, no thick dust any more.
