I believe my father bought this Land Rover in 1949 or 1950 from Guyvers (Coventry) Limited. Car and Light Commercial Vehicle Stockists. Greyfriars Lane, Coventry. Telephone: 63224;5. Directors: F. H. Guyver (Managing). J. J. Guyver. H. W. Guyver. Managers: A. F. Murray (General). D. D. L. Guyver (Service). Does anyone know just where in Greyfriars Lane their premises were?

It was listed at 28-29 Union Street in 1957, at the same phone number it was listed at Greyfriars Lane (but without a property number) in 1953.

Help needed for me please, on this Greyfriars Lane query. I recall a motor dealership in Greyfriars Lane, which was on the left, proceeding from High St, past the bank on the left, somewhere along there, but I think it was a Rootes, dealership. That was late fifties. I thought there was a Guyvers dealership in Rugby that was a Land Rover dealership, around 1970.
