Has anyone heard of Charles Samuel William Peate. Before 2nd world war he lived in the now demolished St Patricks Road, Cheylesmore, Coventry. He had plant nurseries and greenhouses in Quinton Road, Cheylesmore. He was my grandfather and died around 1954?

I took a walk around and tried to roughly pin point where it was. I don't think there's a stone but where I've marked in red is approx. where I'd imagine it is. I could find the exact by working off the 299 grave marker and pacing it out.

We have visited Coventry very recently and have been to the cemetery. I think (hope) I have found the grave. I am intrigued to find out who Arthur Atkins was. There was never any mention of him by my mother or grandfather. Any idea how I go about doing this? Many thanks.

Hi Pamela. Does not help with who he was but Arthur Atkins died in 1931 aged 52, he was in Hatton mental asylum where he died. The records for that are kept in Warwickshire county records office in Warwick. Mary Peate died in 1932 also aged 52.
