Hello & good morning. An aclluded front passed over the Midlands last evening, which was rare because one was on top of the other. I came out of chapel last evening at 9.15pm, where the top roll, was so high, it was still scattering sunlight that had set ages before. That was about 9.15 last evening. Bablake weather on Face book has 17 pictures sent in by members, recording this rare event. Rare in UK. A member sent this in as it was forming. The nearest analogy is like two rollers, rolling like an old fashioned laundry mangle. No lightning, as each roller was discharging constantly. Sharp rainfall over Leicestershire. It wasn't forecasted. That's what has the Bablake members so excited. Me too. My friend who was giving me a lift home described it with astonishment, "That's looking angry".
