MelC United Kingdom	1 of 5 Sat 18th Jun 2022 10:58am Hi Everyone, I run a One-Name Study for the surname Caldicott which involves researching all people who bear that surname. My husband is descended from the Coventry Caldicott silk weaver family and so I am familiar with some of the history surrounding the family. However, I would love to find out more about the Coventry Caldicotts or indeed anything about anyone with the surname if anyone can help. Thanks very much, Melanie Caldicott

Thanks very much, Melanie Caldicott Hi, I am a Caldicott by adoption. My father died in the war, and my mother then married a Richard Caldicott, descended from the silk family. I took his surname. Which bit of that family is your husband connected to? I have an Ancestry family tree of the Caldicotts. Robert Caldicott Question

argon New Milton	5 of 5 Wed 21st May 2025 4:16pm The only Caldicott I knew was Jack Caldicott lived in Heath Crescent in the '50s.
