Cloudy first thing but gradually brightening up today.
Today:
A cloudy start to the day for most, but gradually brightening up with occasional glimmers of sunshine poking through, and perhaps some lengthier sunny spells in eastern counties this afternoon. Temperatures close to average for early February. Maximum temperature 7 °C.
Tonight:
Cloud lowering this evening and becoming widespread across the region with murky and damp conditions developing over higher ground. Patchy fog developing later as skies turn clearer. Generally remaining frost-free. Minimum temperature 2 °C.
Monday:
Early low cloud, mist and fog clearing, then a much brighter day with sunny periods for all. Perhaps turning a little cloudier and breezier later. Feeling milder. Maximum temperature 9 °C.
Outlook for Tuesday to Thursday:
Breezy and rather mild on Tuesday with rain arriving later. High pressure building thereafter to bring a dry period with some sunshine. Turning somewhat colder with overnight frosts becoming widespread.

Hello,
No more rain showing up, as high pressure dominates our scenario.
Quite cold with frosts as we continue into the weekend, but sunshine may give us a feeling of springtime, more so as buds are budding everywhere as I look out of my window.
