Hello. West Midlands weather forecast Monday 27 Jan - Friday 31 Jan Headline: Windy with sunny intervals and showers today. Today: A changeable day consisting of brief sunny intervals interspersed with showers. These may be heavy at times, occasionally merging to give longer periods of rain. Windy, especially during the afternoon. Maximum temperature 8 °C. Tonight: Further showers or longer periods of rain this evening and overnight. Windy at first but winds gradually easing through the early hours. A relatively mild and frost free night. Minimum temperature 3 °C. Tuesday: Breezy and cloudy on Tuesday with showers or longer periods of rain. Perhaps turning a bit drier later in the day but showers are still possible. Maximum temperature 8 °C. Outlook for Wednesday to Friday: Drier on Wednesday with lighter winds and perhaps some brightness. Dry with lengthy sunny periods on Thursday. Probably cloudier on Friday, perhaps with showers. Boy was it wet last night. I had to decamp downstairs because the noise was so bad. May have been a hint of hailstones in there.

Hello & thank you Helen. Our area forecast doesn't look that bad, but there's a sting in the tail. Thunder storms & squalls possible today & tomorrow. Squalls can trigger tornados. As I'm posting this, a line of squalls is tracking in a line stretching through the home counties into Cambridgeshire.
