This Evening and Tonight: Remaining windy in the north of the region at first this evening but winds continuing to ease overnight. A band of squally showers will move east early in the night with clear skies following later. Cold with a rural frost. Minimum temperature 1 °C. Saturday: A mainly dry day on Saturday with plenty of sunshine, although showers are possible after dark. Light winds but turning breezier later. Temperatures near to the January average. Maximum temperature 6 °C. Outlook for Sunday to Tuesday: After a dry start, turning wet and windy on Sunday. Remaining changeable with showers at times on Monday and Tuesday and often windy. Glad it's quietened down. The wind wasn't bad here but it was noisy since about 2 last night until 5 this afternoon.

Hello, I'm glad you are ok, Helen. I hope that all of our members & friends are ok. Those in that land of haggis too. The Wetherspoons haggis dish is beautiful. They don't buy individual pet haggis like I do, it's catering packs, but it's beautiful. I wish that they did it for breakfast, fried.

Hello, A direct consequence of the gales, where fences have been destroyed. That's platform 4, normally the empty platform. Trains cancelled as crew in the wrong places. Trains are hitting livestock that are wondering through broken fences. As well as the suffering cattle, a high speed train hitting tons of any obstruction doesn't do the train much good or the folk at the front.
