Philip, what sort of soothing music would you choose when giving us a tour around your railway?

Excellent, Philip, and we are blessed with a bus shelter too. It must be the bus driver's 'smoko break'. I hope there are no ciggy stubs round where we can sit!!! Happy

Gosh, Dreamtime, Upstairs internal bus roofs had to be re-coated constantly because of nicotine staining.

Courtaulds at Little Heath made what was called Filter Tow, the stuff within a cigarette butt.

Hi all, A DMU, being cleaned & loaded with mail & parcels at Grove, before departing for Nether Field. It's first passenger pick-up is Hounds Hill. Passengers awaiting the DMU to Nether Field at Hounds Hill, on the near platform, whilst those on the far platform are waiting for Coventry & Leamington. Yes, it's all in my mind. It helps sometimes. I felt Mick's disappointment in his Berkswell post, as 'progress', if that's what it is, changes that we once took for granted. Our railway has its new stuff, but deep down, how I wish for some of those scenes from years ago.

I hope that they spent the proper time in quarantine? We wouldn't want your native model trees starting to die off. You'll end up with the wrong sort of plastic leaves on the track and it will play havoc with your timetable.

Hi all, A picture of Longford Park. In our fiction story, the line continued to Coventry Power Station, but earlier also to two coal mines, in the direction that the coal lorry is leaving the small goods yard. So, even through the fiction, our railway tries to reflects the reality of the locations. Of note for me is the drop door coal wagon. It's an Airfix kit, over forty years old, assembled by my Michael when he was ten. The two characters sat on the platform seat are my son Michael & his son Sean. They've been there about eight years.
