A word that's regularly used nowadays in the broadcast forecasts, is "Uncertainty" .
Why are we so blind that we except that forecasting isn't easy, yet we treat the long-term forecasts as being gospel, including climate change? Don't get me wrong, I've seen climate change over my 78 years of living, but what I question is our ability to forecast it. I know professional forecasters who are very uncomfortable with climatology, where one of them described "Blinding the blind with a blind science of uncertainty" .
