I do have an idea about including a croft scene, but in the mean time, small Prairie tank is waiting for the off, with the afternoon parcels from Grove to Hounds Hill. Grove, might become Grove Croft. I don't know. Will see how this sits. A weed killing train is badly needed at Grove.

Hi Helen, I'm an associate member of Bournville model club, but don't get there because of distance. My whole stance with model railways might have come about because of reading a Rupert story, about Rupert stumbling across an old railway line in the woods. I was in Paybody hospital at the time aged about five.

Stories galore. Big pictures as well. It's such fun. 2005/10 when I did those.

Hi all, It's with delight that I tell you that I had a forum visitor this afternoon. The picture shows that even the D Di man needs a cuppa in Pam's cafe.

Can I have a scoop of chocolate please? I don't suppose they did sugar cones in those days?

I'm not familiar with sugar cones, but D Di ice cream was legendary. I've mentioned before that my Cornwall friends who thought everything Cornish was gold, couldn't believe the quality of D Di. Worth passing a few counties for.

Hi all, For three years, it's almost been impossible to carry out work on our railway, as Pam having an 8' hospital bed in the lounge meant that we had displaced furniture hanging from ceilings (not quite) in every room. Other rooms accommodated a full size drug fridge, cupboard & nurses drug trolley. I've sorted a fiddleyard auto uncoupler that was misbehaving, but I'm already thinking through a pull-out croft. A few breakfast tests might improve my thinking capability. What on earth am I on about. Well, I'm feeling ok.

Is this fake? Stuff at sky high prices, it's make do & mend time for experienced modellers.

Model auction lots Lots of mini stuff at auction. There are cheaper ways to bid than the saleroom but there will still be extra to pay on any bid. If you're interested, work out the max total amount you might want to pay. Also factor picking stuff up.

Hi Helen, hi all, The important thing to be aware of is the general prices of stuff. In my case to know what my limit is, but also to know the prevailing market prices. I've been at model auctions where bidders are outbidding each other, having lost the plot, where the items are readily available at lower prices.
