Thanks Rob. One thing that's bugging me s how do I delete my mail from my mail box??
It might sound silly to some, but I cannot highlight and right click to delete mail. Archive does not do anything as when I go back onto my mail, it's there again. How about a check box down one side that deletes the checked mail.
Always looking forward to looking at the past.

Hi Baz,
You should find that mail is automatically moved to your "Archive" box once it is three months old. There's probably nothing in the archive yet as Rob only made email available fairly recently. |

Love the change of font Rob, 'Arial' is so much easier on the eye. Thank you. |

That's a fantastic idea Baz - and I think I have a solution working now. Forum mails 'younger' than 3 months can now be 'archived' or 'restored' again - but mails older than 3 months remain archived. I hope it works well for you - many thanks for such a positive idea! |

Gallery - multiple uploadsIn an attempt to make the gallery more user friendly, I've added what I hope is a small time-saving feature.... you can now upload multiple images to your galleries simultaneously, at once, together, in one go, at the same time, concurrently.... OK, you get the idea! I look forward to seeing who tries it out first..... |

Hi Ann,
If ever you do wish to make a gallery for your photos, please let me know and I'll try to help you step by step. It's one of those things that always looks difficult and bamboozling when you first look, but like with anything, once you get familiar with it, it's not that bad... honest! |

It looks like Rob has also been extra-busy in the Your Profile section of the forum!
(the link's at the top-right of the page)
It now not only allows you to change your screen photo (Avatar) that appears over on the left under your name and make changes to things like your email address and signature (the text that appears at the bottom of each post you make) but also includes: -
Your total post count.
View all your own posts.
See all 'before and after' edits to your posts.
View a graphical representation of your post count for the last week, month, year and ever.
Check your most recent post.
And a really excellent addition; view thumbnails of all the images that you have uploaded
to the forum and it very cleverly highlights any that you've uploaded but not yet used,
while also allowing you to delete them if they are no longer needed!
Take a look, it's great stuff
A big thank you to Rob for all the continued improvements to the forum! |

Hi Pat, not sure what you mean by "for ones own use" - but this new feature allows you to select (say) 20 photos stored on your own computer, then upload them all to your forum gallery, automatically one after the other, without the need to upload each one separately. Hope that makes sense. |

Thanks Tony. That helps me a bit. I was trying to say that some of the pictures that appear on different sites are really special and I was thinking I would like a collection to put on my p.c. but I've probably got the wrong idea. Thanks anyway. I need to go to beginners class I think!!! |

I've also further enhanced everyone's Profile page.... clicking on a little thumbnail at the bottom of that page now enlarges it.
Cheers all,
Rob
