Coventry cycle clubs

I'm looking for some details about an old cycle club from Coventry called The Bantams. Does anyone know of this club or anywhere I can find some information about them?

I've never heard the name Bantams. My dad started in the Demon, before the formation of the Three Cs, but the Bantam is not one I can recall ever having heard of.

Just how far back do you mean? This is a picture of a ladies cycling club around the turn of the century taken from in front of Ebenezer Terrace in the Holyhead Road. The ornate watchmakers house on the corner of Chester Street is now a doctor's surgery:

My dad was 15 at the time of the photo, so he may be in the picture. However, I don't think it would be possible to recognise him!

Does anyone have any info regarding where the 1983 Milk Race ended. The stage from from Bristol Coventry on May the 24th.

Just found and advert with the route and it does say Little Park Street.

Any chance you could post that route Anne? That's what I'm interested in to answer a picture question of the race on FB.
