Hello,
We start the new week, with Atlantic lows dominating the UK weather, both positioned to the north, in fact so far north that a ridge of high pressure from the mid Atlantic may push its way in further than previously anticipated.
Coventry weather looks to be uneventful, a bit like todays.
I won't post a chart until the morning, when I might have a better clue. The official forecasters are reducing the previously anticipated rainfall for next week as I post this.
I try to forecast based on my own opinion, from the data that I have, hoping for a gut feeling of what's going on. The official forecasts rely on modelling comparisons. A bit like looking at what everyone else is writing in an exam, then going with the flow. That only works if the modelling data has a track record. We certainly have not had that of late.

Hello,
Wednesday is now looking to be the wettest day for Coventry. How much rain is a guessing game at present.
