Lovely old roofline looking at the new Herbert

I love a bit of old roof The left hand roof belongs to the Dun Cow and the picture matches up nicely with this one.

Looking at the Art Gallery image, the bit that is now the cafe doesnt appear to be enclosed. Was it ever open to walk through or is the glazier late?!

It looks like they are still working on The Herbert, Ben, so glass still to go in.

Here's an interesting shot as the old row that remained to the SE end of Jordan Well (to include the Dun Cow) has already gone, however, it's before construction had started on the Richard Crossman building so I'm guessing circa 1970 -

Googling says the Crossman building went up in '71 Helen though it does look a bit later...

Apols I don't think I shared this one as well - before the Hewitt's/Lea Francis bits were moved to Spon Street and looking over to MPS -
