There are quite a few images purporting to be Whitley Abbey Junior school dating from the 1970s. They absolutely are NOT Whitley Abbey Primary school - I went there in the 1970s and as well as the building images not remotely matching the ethnicity of the pupils is totally out of synch too. It was overwhelmingly white back then with very few pupils - less than a handful - from African Caribbean or South Asian heritage when I left in 1981. I have emailed the address given on the Coventry Digital site but it bounced.
Does anyone have any idea which school actually features or what area it is in the series of images?
