A friend is looking for any living relatives, of Dennis John Richard Howell, born Coventry 1916, married 1939 at Rugby to Margaret Mary Leaton, killed 1944 at Welby, near Grantham, Lincolnshire, when a Lancaster Bomber, and a Blenheim Bomber collided in mid air......bit of a long shot I know, but does this mean anything to anyone ?.......

Hi Del In 1921 there was a John Richard Howell living at 74 Freehold Street, which looks like a possible father. There are other Howells but the name looks most likely. That might be a starting point?

In 1912 at 74 Freehold Street the name is James Howell, labourer. Grandfather?

By 1937 John Richard Howell had moved to 109 Clifford Bridge Road.

It's possible that one of Dennis's sisters, Ivy Emily, had a son, which would make him his nephew......born in 1939.....I won't name him on here, as he would now be 86 , and could well be still living......
