You'd be invaluable Helen! I'll try to send on anything we're stuck on whenever I can attend. |

Let us know whenever they are, Ben, and I'll pop up when I can. I'm usually up there on Wednesday evenings for the Car Dub Club event (ok and for Twisted Barrel sampling! ) |

Hopefully there'll be appetite for more sessions, probably late August, a couple in September and so on.

It's not a lack of appetite but of miles and cost. |

Where are you?
The plan is for the first set to go up the next day. If we can get through 250 (there's plenty of stuff that cannot be identified, car crashes etc.) a session, you'll be able to keep up online.

Warrington.
I've got a fair bit of info on the images of the old city - eg some are back to front. |

A polite reminder that tomorrow night at Common Ground cafe, FarGo Village, we'll have the first session going through Arthur Cooper's work. This gallery I hope will whet the appetite of those demurring, and with apologies to Helen.

Number 4 looks south across The Precinct towards the Warwick Road United Reformed Church.
Number 5 is Warwick Lane, alongside the Central Hall and looking towards the post office on Greyfriars Lane.
Number 9 is an ill-conceived protest in defence of Cuban communism, with the camera looking towards Kirby House on Little Park Street.
Number 10 is taken from the Council House, looking across Earl Street at the temporary shops and the Midland Bank on the corner of Little Park Street. |

No.4 is looking along what was becoming Smithford Way, and Market Way further on. What are the old buildings in the right foreground, I assume facing onto Corporation Street? |

Picture No.13 (The Beatles) was taken as part of a collection showing them with Scalextric Cars & 'listening' to a Transistor Radio on 17th November 1963 in the Backstage Bar of the Coventry Theatre. This co-incidentally was exactly a year to the day that they played their first Coventry concert at the Matrix Ballroom on 17th November 1962. Their first concert in Warwickshire had been on 5th October 1962 at the Co-op Hall, Nuneaton. |
