I did butchers waste collection back in the 60`s,but I don`t recall Potters, there was Harry Hewitt on the corner opposite Foleshill Park , Drapers by the Lyric Nightinggales just passed Parkgate Rd

Yes, I struggle to remember Potters, but I didn't arrive in Holbrooks until 1968. One of the butchers you mention may have taken over the butchers shops that were Mr. Dunns. He died very early sixties.
