The farmer from Nailcote Farm has now fenced off the top field (with the track out onto Cromwell Lane) for the construction of 240 houses.
The fence runs right across the public footpath and is feet away from the detached bungalow at the end off the track.
Access to the new estate is where the tall hedge (shown in picture) is to be removed and also the house, 90 Cromwell Lane, that is to be demolished. It will wrap around the detached house with the long drive and eventually spread to the railway

According to the plans, the footpath is outside the development area. Is there a temporary closure notice for the footpath? |

Probably worth an email to your local councillor or the Council public rights of way officer.
But don't hold your breath. |
